Who we are

Co-Shopper is operated by Co-Shopper Inc., located in Ottawa, ON. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you visit co-shopper.ai or sign up for our waitlist.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist, we collect your name and email address so that we can personalize communications and send you your invite or access code.

To protect the platform from spam and abuse, we also record a hashed version of your IP address together with a timestamp at the moment of signup.

The IP address itself is never stored. Instead, we combine it with an environment-specific salt and convert it into a one-way SHA-256 hash that we can only use to enforce security limits such as rate limiting.

We do not collect payment information or detailed purchase histories at this stage of the product.

How we use your information

We use your email address to communicate about the beta program, gather feedback, and share release updates. We may also send occasional product insights that help you make the most of Co-Shopper.

Third-party services

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors navigate the site. GA4 collects pseudonymous usage data such as page views and interaction events. We do not combine that analytics data with your waitlist submission.

Data retention

We retain waitlist contact information until the beta program concludes or until you ask us to delete it. You can request removal at any time by emailing hello@co-shopper.ai.

Your rights

If you are located in Canada, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You may also withdraw consent to receive updates. Send requests to hello@co-shopper.ai and we will respond within 30 days.
